That is SO COOL! I grew up listening to the engine roar from Heidelberg racetrack near Pittsburgh. A lot of USAC open wheel, demo derby and figure 8 junk but a few times a year it was STOCK CAR/NASCAR. Good times! Well except for the dirt in the nose stuff...

We used to watch Billy Vulkovic (sp) race midgets at Kearney Bowl in Fresno and at Madera Speedway in the late 40s and Hard Top races down there about the same time. Also Attended and competed in drag races in Fresno and Bakersfield in 52 & 53...

WOW! I was born in ‘49 and the first race I >barely< remember was in ‘57. Left early because of the noise, dirt and went to a nearby duck pond in Rennerdale PA. It’s still there FWIW and I take the grand kids there.

Reading in comments on the Nascar thread it has to do with a wheel spacer. Nascar told them not to use it, they did. Nothing else coming of it, according to posters there.
Got the same info from XMRadio.
chad asked if they could use the spacer. The answer was NO. They used it anyway.

Is your XM in car only? I am at the bottom of a huge hill. No RF or sat except for a narrow band to the SW and that is heavily wooded. Internet feed possible?
