I can deal with cold weather .... as long as there is no significant snow and it’s looking like a lot of snow is possible this coming winter. The only positive I can think of to snow is that I have great boots! Last year I bought some really serious neoprene, knee-high boots from a farm supply store - made for farmers with muddy barnyards, etc. (they make similar boots for hunters). The couple of times I wore them last year, they were wonderful - could shovel snow without getting cold, wet feet and legs. I’m seriously thinking of putting the scraper blade on the big tractor for the winter ..... we have a long driveway & can easily get snowed in. In the meanwhile, I’m making crockpots of soup and freezing in containers - nothing like a hot cup/bowl of “comfort” soup after hours outside, dealing with Gorebal Warming. :-)

Ican deal with cold weather, but I just don’t like to. I hate the bulk of a winter coat, and my car’s heater is not great.

I like to stay in and drink coffee or teas. Eat soups or beans, relax and look at seed catalogs.
