As an accompanying piece to my Midterm analysis located here

I wanted to maybe give some positive news to those real conservatives who, while happy the Dems have been kicked to the curb, are annoyed that the establishment seems to have 'won the day'.
Yes, the establishment robbed us of many high profile primary races, with Mike Simpson hanging on in Idaho as the most liberal Republican of that delegation, Boehner stooge James Lankford winning the senate nod from Oklahoma, and of course the despicable ruination of Chris McDaniel in Mississippi to save the dribbling Cochran.
But in the House in general, the story was not so clear cut in the final numbers. We did lose some members, half of whom lost while pursuing higher office, but we have MANY new members coming in who promise to be very solid.
Here is a special Tea analysis of the House changes this cycle.
That map is great, thank you
LOL! I was just looking up Zinke after seeing that quote in an article!
An ex-Seal commander, not a ‘true’ conservative but I think he’ll be an asset for us.
Anyone who openly calls Hillary the antichrist is likely to cause Boehner some headaches. haha
Please add this big BIG win in Ohio - unseating the state Democratic party chair
TEA PARTY CANDIDATE STEVE KRAUS DEFEATS OHIO DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN FOR OHIO HOUSE 89th DISTRICT

Anderson Township TEA Party ^ | Tuesday, November 4, 2014 | Tom Zawistowski
Akron, OH In a major victory by the Ohio TEA Party Movement, TEA Party Republican Candidate Steve Kraus from Sandusky, Ohio, has defeated Ohio Democratic Chairman Chris Redfern for Ohio House seat in the 89th District that includes Erie and Ottawa Counties. Redfern had been in the Ohio House since 1999 and has been State Chairman of the Ohio Democratic Party since 2005. Kraus made a strong but unsuccessful bid for Congress in 2012. He decided to run for Ohio House against Redfern after the Ohio Republican Party showed little interest in fielding a candidate in the race. Kraus...
Important for sure, as were Tea Party wins in two legislature races in TX (not to mention the AG position), however this was really focusing on the US House. Obviously, the Tea Party had big victories at the state level and also the senate (Ernst and Sasse).
Apologies to all - still unseating a dem chair is very good news!
Its great news, especially as it seems the Republicans look like they’d written it off. Talk about your citizen candidates!
Thank-you very much for your round-up and report. Invaluable.
Sorry, I meant the message for Viennacon.
This is such good analysis. How do you come to all this data and judgement?
This would make a great blinking graphic to hang over the family room bar.
Well, I already knew about the high profile races like Mia Love obviously. Some digging on various Tea Party websites, SCF, Club for growth, and I came up with a shortlist of anti-establishment candidates. Cross checked to see if they won, and viola, this list.
Unfortunately, we weren’t successful everywhere. With 75% of the vote in for the general jungle in Washington’s 4th district, moderate Dan Newhouse appears to be edging out conservative former football player Clint Didier.
A Tea Party candidate Bob Johnson in one of Georgia’s other districts got defeated by someone more moderate in the primary. Igor Birman was robbed of the chance to take down Ami Bera in California by pro-abort Doug Osse.
However, even if Johnny Tacherra doesn’t remain ahead of Jim Costa in California, the total remains where it is because I forgot a highly conservative candidate in North Carolina called Mark Walker, who wants to stop illegals using jet fighters on the southern border. He won as well on Tuesday.
“The narrative that the Tea Party was crushed this cycle is just false”
Yeah. A “the media fears us for good reason” bump to your work.
You are doing great yeoman’s work. It is important to put all the pieces together and make sense of the trends and opportunities.
I think your work should be packaged for greater syndication. Thank-you again.
Thanks. It is important that demoralization at least be justified, and despite the media, it really isn’t.
Thanks for this great work!
Do you know anything about Will Hurd who beat Dim incumbent Gallego in TX-23? It was a GOP pickup by a black Pubbie, so that’s great - would be even better if he is a conservative (haven’t seen or read much about him except that he was in the CIA, so not sure).
One thing I’ll say right now, and I said 500 times during the primary, Kerry B in MI was electorally weak and had Ron Paul ties, so I’m glad he lost to regular conservative Republican Dave Trott. He ran in general as a write in candidate with the goal of trying to help the rat win, proving he’s a nitwit (the polite term, I have much nastier things to say about anyone who tries to help the rats win out of spite)
Damn but I miss Dave Brat!
Just wanted to bump this to keep it from disappearing.
Your post wins the Lazarus Trophy.
yeah, I guess it does. LOL!
Very interesting info for the upcoming elections though. Hate to see it disappear.
