If Reid resigns it will be an entertaining Death match between Durbin and Schumer for the Dem leadership.

LOL, I can see it now! The Chuck vs. The Shmuck!

(well, actually, they’re both shmucks, but you know what I mean).

Some staffers, whose primary loyalty is to their state and not to a party may stay on with the new Senators.

And they’ll find them working for Republicans.

Someone started a thread on DUmp “I think the President has to put resignation on the table and not give them the
satisfaction of being impeached”. Another DUmper liked the idea so much he doubled-down suggesting that Biden could resign too!

“I expect that Mark Levin’s prediction will come true and he will go full Mussolini as he tries to punish the American people for rejecting him. He IS that banal”

You know how to defeat a executive order? Pass a law against it.

Right now, probably none. The best bets will be any older democrats or those with health problems, first off. Then how many of these are in swing districts or districts that the demos are changing right in. Then figure how many are up for re-election in two years (senators), all reps will be. then factor in if there’s a good republican candidate in that area that would be someone people there would vote FOR in addition to voting AGAINST the democrat.

That’s how many might resign.

But they won’t do it anytime soon unless they have pressing health problems, or something that makes them vacate early. They won’t do it anytime soon.

She got the win in her district with the usual 100 thousand or so idiots voting for her.

Marxists crooks Alcee Hastings and Alana Grayson had no problem either.

As the dem mouth piece probably. Her district does re-elect her, however, so there is that. Maybe she is the best they got. (lol)

I’m sort of locking for the independent in the Senate from Maine, Angus king or whatever his name is, to start meeting with the ‘pubs - he seems weird enough to want to go with whomever has the power at the moment.....

Manchin just needs a respectable excuse to make his party switch look less opportunistic. It is not without reason that he is the last American in the Democrat caucus. That won’t last.

“...There’s a growing sentiment here on FR that West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin will switch to the GOP, though....”
*******************************************************************************************************
I don’t want him in the Republican caucus. He’s devious and would merely be a reinforcement to the RINO faction within the Republican Senate caucus.

He can be free to vote with the Republicans but he can do that as a ‘RAT. As the sole surviving West Virginia ‘RAT in Congress, he’ll be living in fear and will have to vote mostly with the Republicans to have any hope of surviving politically.

We don’t need Angus King in the Republican Senate caucus either. He’d simply try to infiltrate ‘RAT ideas into legislation if given ANY opportunity.

I agree, no DEMS will resign.

But I think the Yanks will try to resign Headley and Ichiro.

My beloved Royals will not be resigning James Shields; not for the 5 years, $100 million he's supposed to be looking for. Not sure they'll try and keep Alex Gordon, either. I'd rather they used the money to sign a power hitting DH.
