I do sooooo HATE the Giants. Damn. Seeing them win just hurts.

I can’t wait until next year.
I hope the A’s can pull it together.

A lot of folks don’t know Bochy took the Padres to the series in 98 also, even if they did get swept by the damned Yankees.

Gee whiz. I wouldn’t mind seeing the A’s win the prize one day.

I’m in Omaha and was thinking of trying to fork out for tickets and make one of the games in KC. I didn’t think even for one second about any problems wearing a Giants shirt at KC’s park as I’m a Giants fan and I know the Royals fans are by and large nice people. I’ve been to some of the games of the Royals’ minor league team here, the Stormchasers. I go to the Dog Nights and bring my female Borzoi. She always gets the stares as she’s easily the cutest pup in the park.

However, there is no way I’d wear a Giants shirt in LA at a Giants/Dodgers game. Dodger fans are pretty mean these days in certain parts of the park.

The guy would have been out at the plate for sure.

Yeah, he’s the Phil Niekro of position players. Spasmodically throws his bat away and gets a hit. He hit .277 for the season and .435 in the WS. Not shabby.

He’s well known here for riding his Segway to home games, and eating loads of Kale.

One of the finest double plays I have ever seen. Absolutely amazing.

During some of the player interviews after the game, I noticed the lights on the stadium fountains were changed to orange. Classy.

Figure he had only about a 40% chance to score. But the chances that Perez would get a hit off Bumgarner or have the run score on a mishap was probably less than 25%.

Sorry, it was my bad. I assumed you knew that the Giants in no way are responsible for the politics of their city. Nor am I. I’m gonna have to regretfully decline to respond to any more of your posts. I’m really sorry I didn’t recognize your tunnel vision earlier. I didn’t mean to increase your bitterness. I apologize.

True enough but Perez was hitting well and Bumgardner was starting to fatigue.

The runner was not going to get any faster on the last leg of what would essentially be an inside the park home run either (albeit caused by the error in the outfield)

The guy really had no other option but to hold him, hell he was pointing out that the cutoff man had the ball right after he put up the hold sign so the runner wouldn’t get too far the line towards home and get thrown out at third.
