Can't recall if it was on the occasion of Leon Wieseltier trashing Gore's awful book on Lincoln [the prose was truly purple, and Wieseltier was not the only one to notice.]
Gore went wherever he's ultimately headed in 2012; certainly long enough to see the Rise and Fall of John "My Little Pony" Edwards, and his equally important hair.
