Apparently, the usual sober and fraught political commentary that often accompanies episodes of physical violence directed toward women disappears when the subject of that violence is a Palin. The political press had a hearty chuckle at the expense of the Palins when it first broke that the former first family of Alaska was involved in an alcohol-fueled brawl. The “thrilla in Wasilla,” some called it. One might, however, have expected the laughter to die down after local police released audio of Bristol Palin who described through hysterical tears how she had been assaulted, dragged through the grass, and robbed. My view:
The truth is that the D.isease Party was scared to death of Sarah Palin. So they DE-volved into a ‘hen-pecking’ party. When the hens see blood, they get into a pecking frenzy until the bloody hen is killed.
The mugging and jeers are the inevitable result of people allowed to turn into wild beasts. This is what “Lord of the Flies” is all about.

Leftists have ‘checked out’. They wage war against civilization and embrace barbarians such as Islam, hate-mongering pseudo-Christians [black liberation theology], leftist-anarchists, and union thugs. They also stir up discord. They encourage divorce and pit poor against rich, animal lovers against humanitarians, sexual reprobates and drug abusers against Christianity, women against men, children against parents, and working women against house keepers.
Global warming is also a method of ‘divide and conquer’ — those who trust grant-funded research and those who point out the fraudulence of it along with the end game: ‘more taxes and less prosperity’.
All of this resulted in the religion of leftist secularism: propserity is ‘evil’, Christianity is ‘evil’, masculinity is ‘evil’, and freedom is ‘dangerous’. All of Western Civilization’s underpinnings have eroded. And as our economy reflected this, so did China’s economy eclipse us.
Sarah Palin cut through leftist divisiveness. She united and inspired people, a breath of fresh air. No one was surprised — she was [after all] overwhelmingly popular as Alaska’s governer. She posed a threat. So the D.isease Party did the only thing it understands — D.estruction and D.iscord.
