Well, its still govt by consent even if theyre in denial. Theyre just on the cusp of seeing what withdrawal of the consent looks like. Theyll lose elections. If they try to impose their will at the end of a gun that can be dealt with too. I say this b/c all too often those in govt are happy (even quick) to use force. They mistakenly believe just b/c theyre elected they can do whatever they please.
They’d be best served by allowing the “escape valve” of elections,
but I think they’re arrogant enough to think they can plug this “hole” in their agenda as well.
They’ve done everything they can to eliminate the possibility of having their power limited by the ballot box.
