Cowboys Waive Michael Sam From Practice Squad

IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys have decided to waive defensive end Michael Sam.
The practice squad player who joined the team on Sept. 3, spent the first seven weeks of the season on the 10-man squad and never made it to the 53-man roster.
Sam, the first openly-gay player in the NFL, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Rams.

Well they have gone 6-1 with him...I wonder what will happen if they lose the next few games, will it be the “Michael Sam Curse”.
But at the time, it appeared on defense the Cowboys would need all the help they could get, but they have played way beyond expectations, so obviously Sam is no longer necessary.
