I think so. I just cannot find a comfortable holster that I can sit in the car without taking it off.

Are ankle holsters worn directly on skin, or over a sock?

I hope so, I can’t even stand to to put my bare legs on my leather couches.

Looks like it's worn over a sock, with a garter to help hold it up. My Lee Jeans wouldn't accommodate that rig.

My straight leg Levis I think are wide enough. I guess I just have to try it out and see.

Michelle has a nice voice; she has a retail background and is the call screener.

Baby Glocks would be awfully heavy for an ankle holster.

FYI, that's what I used to think. I have ankle carried a G27 for well over a year now, everyday. Don't even feel it. A good holster makes all the difference. These are the best IMO.

I started with an "airweight' S&W 5 shot revolver, which is extremely difficult to master and maintain skill with at any distance. I am totally confident in my ability with my Glock and much happier now that I am carrying it instead. Also having double the rounds with just the magazine in the gun is nice as well.

Which model is for the G27?

I believe they have more than one style that fits the G27. I got the Cozy Partner Model 53, which has the thumb snap. I didn’t think I liked it at first, but it has grown on me. They are very helpful if you give them a call and tell them what you have/want. Very comfortable inner lining.

BTW, here’s something you may not know about your G27, it’s 3 guns in one.

You can buy conversion barrels for it in 9mm and 357sig and all you need to
refit is buy a 9mm magazine, 357sig fits in the 40cal magazine. I keep 9mm in
mine pretty much permanently. It’s so much cheaper to shoot and less hard on
your hand.

Knew about the drop-in barrels, just haven't gone that route yet. Aren't there a couple of different manufacturers? Any thoughts on which is best? Lone Wolf is one but I can't think of the other.

I have a G23 as well and the wife has a G26. I didn't realize the 357sig fits in the 40cal magazines though. I have always been interested in that caliber. Definitely thinking of that for the G23. Thanks!

Yes, I have the Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel and a Storm Lake 357sig conversion barrel for the G27. Also I have a Storm Lake 10mm conversion barrel for my G30. All have been reliable with about 100 rounds cycled through each. Remember, the 9mm and 10mm need their own magazines, 357sig works fine with a 40cal magazine.

I only got into this because of the 0bama effect on ammo the last couple years, wanted access to what may be available in a crisis. /prepper

I like the 357sig better than 40cal in the G27, less snappy and a faster round. But 9mm is still my preference.

Well, now you have gone and done it. LOL. I am on the hunt for the 357sig conversion for my G23, which appears to be quite popular as there are none in stock anywhere. They have them for the G27, but not the G23. I must have one!

Also, now I have to start shopping for 357sig ammunition, which also seems to be in limited supply. I love a challenge.....

As I recall now, I had to order my Storm Lake barrels directly from them because EVERYONE was always out or them. $15 more but...

I had to call them and wait but I got them sooner than if I ordered from Midway USA or whomever.
