(VIDEO-AT-LINK)

The fiance of Amber Joy Vinson, the second person to contract the Ebola virus in the United States, is under quarantine in Texas.

No name or age has been given for the fiance, who is in Dallas under self-quarantine, which basically means that he’ll avoid contact with others and alert officials if he shows any symptoms.

The man isn’t showing signs of the virus as of yet but will stay home from work for the next three weeks to play it safe, reported WFAA.

His employer, NationStar Mortgage in Lewisville, says the man called them and admitted that he’d been around Amber leading up to her diagnosis.

Senior management at the company believe everyone is safe.

“Our understanding is from the health authorities we’ve talked to is that since he was last at work on Thursday, and the person he was in contact with who has the illness didn’t show symptoms until this week, that there’s no risk or danger to anyone at NationStar because there was no contamination present in our building,” spokesman John Hoffmann said...

I understand what you’re saying. If the conversation was recorded, a transcript would be helpful. (However, can we really trust anything from the CDC at this point?)

IMHO, if the CDC believed the transcript could play in their favor, they probably would’ve released it to the media.

Maybe they’ll still release the transcript (after they “correct” it, of course). Their credibility is a joke now.

My beef with her is that SHE of all people knew how poorly the CDC has dealt with this. In her OWN HOSPITAL!

Welcome to the Obola administration. YOU are the disease and WE are the cure.

They should adopt that as their slogan.

Your body needs to be producing antibodies to the virus to test positive. So, you can see why early tests often produce false negatives.

Yeah. That’s rocket science. I’m a nurse and have been working in an ebola room. I have a low grade fever. Should I ride in an airliner for a relativity frivolous reason today?

A real brain teaser there/

She’s a nurse. With a bit of cursory research she would know that the CDC was lying it’s a$$ off. Story now is that she was symptomatic before she left for Cleveland. If that’s true there is no excuse, CDC permission or not.

I’ve been in the hospital with one trying to get a viral load in check. Very scary. What we do know is, WE DONT know much about this. We must err on the side of caution.

I have to agree. If you are sick, stay at home. If you go to work and spread it, you should be fired, or in Texas. “put down”

I do have thoughts of prayer for her.

I told my kin that if I get it, I hope its early.

If you get it mainstream with a pop. of 333 million, good luck with all that.

Don’t forget to tell Obamacare that your cousin owns a pistol.

Bla bla bla. What if you come into contact with an asymptomatic person’s blood, feces, urine, semen? I call bullshit on this “need to show symptoms” to be contagious.

The definition of "contact" needs to be modified when the contactee is one's fiance.

I would like to know exactly what she told the CDC. I agree that a bad decision was made, but I would still like to read what she told them.

Nurse: 99.5°F
CDC: OK

My analysis: It's the Obama Regime's fault.

We all need to stay on message.

The main reason I'm not trusting either side is that there must be a boatload of lawyers salivating over this.

1. Lawyers for the passengers waiting for other flights, and employees at the Dallas airport when she departed for Cleveland.

2. Lawyers for the passengers and crew on the plane she took to Cleveland, and for the other flights with passengers and crew that were in the air before the plane was taken out of service. Also, lawyers for the Airline when it found out and had to take the plane out of service.

3. Lawyers for people she might have had contact with in Cleveland.
a. Then, at the Cleveland airport for the return flight:
b. Passengers waiting for other flights.
c. Airport employees.
d. Passengers and crew on her return flight.

4. Upon returning to Dallas:
a. Airport employees.
b. Other passengers waiting for other flights.

This has HUGE monetary implications, and both sides have incentive to wiggle out of responsibility. To be sure, the Government will provide legal representation to its own employees if it is sued, but the nurse is on her own. And I think she knows she effed up big time.
