It didn't take long for Democrats to try to pin the blame for the spreading Ebola crisis on Republican-imposed "budget cuts." The effort clearly smacks of desperation. But it also happens to be completely false.

I have always wondered who falls for the arguement that government agencies will somehow become competent if we just give them more money. It must be a great many people as school bonds pass resoundingly every time they come up for a vote.
especially sense the idiot blame a 26 year old nurse and has been wrong on every prediction he has made.
People want to air travel stopped.
But weren’t budget cuts responsible for arms running to Mexico, workplace violence at Ft. Hood, lack of embassy security in Benghazi, scheduling woes at the VA hospitals, IRS scrutiny of conservative groups, scandals and lapses in the secret service, etc... ? Or so they would have us believe.
Ha....they gave it to the Dallas Baptist Church Charity.
$190 Million to set up offices and housing in 6 cities to house illegal immigrant children.
$50 Million to purchase a hotel complex in Dallas with 600 beds:
and Obama and Dallas Judge Jenkins yucking it up at the signing ceremony
Waiting for the GOP to smack down the dims with this.....crickets.
But look no further than the fact that you can book a round trip flight to Liberia right now!
The gub'mint can learn very quickly & easily every flight with connection I've taken for a decade. This includes times, seat numbers, number of bags etc...
Why aren't the people (in the US now) that have had recent movement through Ebola hit nations being sought out and checked out?
Why?
I blame global “climate change” as the tactic which stole so much in terms of time, money and effort from resolution of some very REAL problems.
“Climate change” has never, in and of itself, ever caused widespread infections, or outbreaks of unrest, or even, for that matter, any more than the expected and long accepted range in weather conditions over either the long or short term.
And despite all the huge sums diverted to “study” the phenomenon, no activity that could be instituted by mankind will affect more than a very small slice of the overall picture of climate, and that only in highly localized zones.
Money wasted on nonessential fields of study, taken from some other very much more important topics, is akin to the concept of justice - justice delayed is justice denied.
In this instance, practical studies delayed are practical studies denied.
Political Correctness will kill us.
Currently in process.
Here’s a question: How can we trust the VA to trust soldiers who come back with ebola when it can’t even take care of them after amputations and head injuries?
- The "Dallas Baptist Church Charity" you referred to is actually BCFS Health and Human Services. At one time this agency was named Baptist Child and Family Services, but somewhere along the way they dropped the Baptist from their name. In fact, a search of their web site does not turn up a single instance of the word Baptist.
- BCFS was going to turn the hotel in your picture into a storage place for illegal immigrant children. But they changed their mind. See here.
- BCFS is a real piece of work. Check out their 1099 tax return here (PDF).
Nancy Snyderman has been the medical expert’ on NBC for many, many years.
She & a group were in West Africa, filming, and they were inside many facilities.
Her camera man was knocked down by Ebola. The whole group is back in the USA. Snyderman & the rest of the crew were told to quarantine themselves inside their own homes-—(Don’t know how many others get exposed with this protocol)-—BUT—the ‘expert’ who has been paid for her advice for many years violated her quarantine & went to a local cafe in person to get a take out order of some special soup SHE wanted.
NOW- guards have these families under quarantine-—and how many new guard jobs will Obama declare have ‘helped the economy???
How badly has Snyderman damaged her reputation as an ‘expert”? How many people are getting less trusting each & every day with the nonsense coming out of the mouths of ‘this administration’??
Her arrogance is beyond belief. I would think that her actions would put her in jeopardy of her own job, also. NBC has to think hard about retaining her any longer.
