Let me know if you want to continue the WW membership. I’m having to pay $14 a week until I get back to goal, sigh.
We don’t have an age limit for trick-or-treat here. Sally’s friends are coming over, because we’re the only ones who live on a safe street (traffic-wise). Elen’s going to a friend’s house to watch movies. Tom plans to visit one of his friends at college on the other side of town. I probably won’t take Kathleen out, but she can wear her costume to the Cub Scouts’ party next Monday.
Yes, I do want to continue the WW membership, at least until I reach my goal of an additional 30# off. At that point, I should have learned enough about what I can eat and what I can’t to be able to maintain it on my own.
I plan to walk three times a week, 40 minutes a pop (I think it is realistic in view of my age and health problems) and stay with the food plan that has been established. It will take a few more months, I’m sure, but once my metabolism kicks in, three days a week walking will be enough. (I’m lucky that way!)
Around here, in the less safe neighborhoods, we have “Safe Street” sites and “Trunk or Treat” sites, the latter of which are usually located in church parking lots with MANY parents supervising. There are usually many activities for the little ones so they don’t get bored.
Now is the time of year that I wish I had unlimited cable channels, so I could stay up all night and watch the really old B&W horror films. I have a few movies on DVD, but some are just not yet available.
