Son #1 could never keep a wristwatch functioning. Old fashioned stem winds. Self winds. Digital all-electronica thingies. Cheap Timexes. Much more expensive Boulivas. Made no difference, if he wore it on his wrist it committed suicide. With no bruises or abuse marks.
Our family lines haven't crossed somewhere that neither of us has discovered have they?
Not so far. But I had a friend who allowed watches to commit suicide by wrist, and the only watch that worked was the Bulova Accura. It hummed and if his arm was close to my pillow it kept me awake.
Darks and I are joined at the soul. He and I even share the same dreams, as it were. Oftimes...he is elegant and much more astute than I, but we are often thrown in together, as it’s the only shape my soul recognizes besides my own.
