I didn’t want to spend the day doing Busdaddy’s errands, and began to get chest pains until I reminded myself that it wasn’t permanent. There were things I wanted to do here, since I was feeling better, but it’s OK.
He was happy that I helped and that made up for a lot. He thinks he’s not tech savvy, but in some ways, he’s more tech savvy than I am. So I helped him figure out the new-to-him symbols on his new phone, so when I get mine, it won’t be so difficult. He only had to pay $30 extra for his, but since my current phone was not as spendy as the one he turned in, I will probably be paying $50 for the upgrade. *sigh* I haven’t paid more than $30 for a phone in almost 10 years, as I wait for them to go on sale. No such luck, this time.
I just ate a potato (lunch was an Arby’s/Hardee’s meat sandwich with no frills) but I haven’t logged anything on WW to keep track of the calories and points. I just needed to eat it so I could take my pills. I will eat a hard-boiled egg after a while when I have to take my evening pills. Personally, I’ve had enough food for today, but the pills are ugly to my system, so I have to buffer them.
Sparkle hasn’t gotten to the snit stage, yet. She is slowly adjusting to me, and will allow me to approach her, which is new, but she limits the time. I won’t force her to stay on my lap and I don’t say ugly things to her when she wants to be left alone. She is a good kitty, and I’m sure, when all is said and done, she will be a lapcat.
First correction. It's not adjusting to you, it's training you.
Secondly, snits do not appear until the feline overlord deems that you are sufficiently trained so that when you refuse to comply with her every whim that she carefully trained you to oblige, THEN she will throw a snit...
