"I was born there, (in Baltimore). That was, of course, wrong." I wasn't born in Baltimore. I was born here, which is south of Baltimore.
It probably wasn't so bad when you were born there. Ladies probably still went up to the big department stores to shop. The streetcars still ran, and they still had cobblestone streets.
The Bromo Selzer Tower most likely displayed the approximately correct time of day, and Republicans were still allowed to show their faces in public.
Things have changed since then.
