All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

Morning!
Weigh day...five pounds lighter! I just need more soup in my diet. I bought some yesterday. I hope I like it, because the flavors didn’t sound all that yummy.
After I downloaded some classical, I downloaded Moody Blues, and didn’t know how to shut it off...Not TOO tech savvy...
Yippee! Congratulations on your success. What does that make your total net loss?
We’re working on Cleanup, prompted by the campout this weekend that I have to go on. Have I ever mentioned that my family members are SLOBS?
But in 15 minutes I’m leaving for my prayer group, and then they’ll all sit around watching tv until I come back. I either have to accept this or have no life outside the house.
Not counting the gains? Twenty-five pounds.
You forget: I’ve seen your slobs in action. But I considered it sluggish, so to me, they are slugs.
“Hi!” to your prayer group!
25 off is a lot. Keep it up, keep it up!
Yeah, they’re slugs, too.
*tagline*
My goal is another 25 or 30 pounds. The number will depend on how I look after 25 pounds more is off. I may even modify that, depending on how I look. I may look ill if I lose too much.
” I teach classes at the drop of a hat.
But I have to keep it short. Most people start wandering away after a few minutes.”
I agree.......I’m leaving the thread, as I post this : )
Drive by post? We were just getting to like you! LOL!
Howdy Face!
What’s up Hottie? It’s good to see you online again. Some of us have really missed you!
What have you been doing, lately? Still crunching the numbers?
Back from my prayer group. For lunch, I ate some leftover chili with spinach and yellow mustard. Next I’ll put Kathleen to bed and then go to the Salvation Army store. We can go to the gym after Kathleen’s nap.
My health has been bad for about a year. Much better these days. I retired too.
Chili with mustard?
today they found the holster, hotel key and some other items the shooter tossed away while fleeing... in the yard of the house ACROSS THE STREET
I will have some soup for lunch, because that’s what I feel like. But will it be cream of potato? Cream of tomato? Or chicken noodle? Hmmmm....decisions, decisions...
I’m thinking I will retire to the bedroom after lunch. Tom Selleck will just have to play Frank Reagan without me, today.
One of our more obnoxious neighbors got his truck towed today for parking in the red zone in front of the mail boxes. He thought it had been stolen and called the police. Some folks are just square pegs in round holes.
I thought perhaps you may have been ill, but I have your name on my prayer list, so I’ve been trying to send good thoughts your way.
Congratulations on your retirement! Are you bored, yet?
At least it wasn’t YOUR yard. And I’m glad Knuckles didn’t have to endure the stress of trigger-happy cops.
It was better than it sounds. Mustard is very good for you.
