I’m happy if I can remember what I did today!

I can remember EXACTLY what I did today if someone can remind me what day it is.

Actually, the only events I remember really well are those I’d rather forget, and vice-versa.

Drugs would never have occurred to me.

I’ve been for my walk (45 minutes) and to Walmart and here I am. And I got two big boxes of Pink Drink.

In a little while, I’ll go vote. Anything to get the democraps out of orifice.

Maybe I’ll fix the bookcase when I get back. I seem to have suddenly developed a case of The S-L-O-W-S.

My disc player is wonky so it keeps cutting out. I only got to listen to half a Tom Petty album when it quit entirely and I had to walk home in silence. And I just put new batteries in. *sigh*

I hope they find him soon, and that you and yours are safe. Keep Knuckles indoors. Cops are shoot-the-goggy happy these days.

Lots of truly stupid things go down under the influence of drugs and alcohol.
I try to not think of the stuff I got to watch happen while being the sober one of the group.
No crime, thankfully.
I was fairly good at shepherding my flock of idiots.

We stopped at Party City on our way home from Weight Watchers. Most of the stuff is too expensive, but on the $5 clearance rack, there was a little purple and black costume in which Kathleen will look exactly like Hello Kitty on her Hello Kitty Hallowe’en pajamas.

I recall the days I was the sober one of the crowd. Pouring them all into the vehicle when it was time to leave was the most challenging part.

They don’t appreciate the Designated Driver!

Please make sure you take a piccie of Kathleen in her Hello Kitty costume!

I just made a cup of coffee and it smells so very good! I’ve actually developed a taste for iced coffee and think I prefer it to hot. I just can’t find any I can afford. Bolthouse Farms has a mocha cappuccino that is to die for, but it costs more than Starbucks, and I don’t do the latter. Mostly because of their stance on guns in their stores.

Bolthouse Farms sells the organic carrots, too.

I need more stick-on magnet circles for my needlepoint refrigerator magnets. I gave Miss Kitten all I had done, at WW this morning.

It would probably never work, but I’d love to take a group of about 10 people who are obviously packing into a Starjunks and claim an intent to order about $10 worth of stuff each and see what happens.

Not here in NYC, of course, since the Mayor is as dumb as the leadership at Starjunks.

“Why did you let her take me to her room?” -idiot I was chaperoning.
“You insulted me the last time. So, you paid for it.” -my deadpan response.
Always appreciate the one who has the power of shame over you..
..they never did.

I kept him indoors this morning when a detective wanted to look in the backyard, for a weapon or something. I noticed other detectives/officers were looking in other backyards too.

Hallowe'en update: I found a ninja costume in my closet; it still fits Pat. At Walmart, we got a second ninja (different color) and a Star Wars Stormtrooper. One is Vlad and one is James, I forget which.

You can buy an actually Hello Kitty Bat costume, but it was much cheaper assembling our own, and Kathleen can wear the black pants and shirt until they're worn out or outgrown. You can also get a large Hello Kitty Bat plush toy. I admire saturation marketing!

And so what will you be this year, as you take the little ones out? Is there an age limit for Trick or Treaters where you live?

Here, because of the community, if we want to treat the tricksters, we have to put a paper pumpkin on our doors. So few do it that no one comes any more.

My back hurts. No wonder, she says, looking at the barometer....the water is up the spout! 83, 23%, no breeze. Me? I’m in my thermal shirts now, and my long light-fleece pants until the temp is once again over 95. I have a variety of extra layers, including shirts and a fleece vest, and even leg warmers and thick socks, but it’s not time to drag out the space heater, yet. Maybe another three weeks before I have to do that.

I think my WW membership is about to expire, and since I do it online, they want $20 a month. I forget when I joined. maybe the end of August? I dunno.

I voted this morning, but I don’t know when they will start tallying the registrants for percentages of voters. Maybe this weekend, they will have preliminary numbers. I got there just before 0900 and they weren’t done setting up, but that’s OK. I voted straight Republican, unless there was an “NP” next to the name, and voted to oust the wimmens. The females in this state are notorious for misusing funds.

My neighbor was heading for Jack-In-The_Box for breakfast when I was outside last, and I asked him to get me a Jack antenna ball. A new style, that is. I doubt that he will, but maybe I can go down tomorrow and get one.

Don’t let him out unless you have him on a leash. He’s too sweet to be a victim of a trigger-happy cop.

Hopefully, this whole thing will end soon and you can get back to being normal. Maybe.

*hug* to Knuckles!
