That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

After my doctor’s appointment and a pre-op blood draw, I will go home and spend the rest of the week. I won’t need to come here again until next week, when I need to do laundry again. I only have enough gas in the truck for one more trip after today, anyway.
Shawn is due in tomorrow, and that will be good, as it has been a month since he has been in to clean. And what a month it has been.
I suspected that Sparkle had been abused at one time in her life, and yesterday, I was sure of it. If I reach down to touch her, she shies and scoots away. However, if I lie down on the bed with her, I can pet her to my heart’s content.
She is becoming more vocal, as well, and I am so happy she is adjusting. It will still be a while before she completely trusts me, but we will take it slow.

Exactly. And only if she were abused would she be that way. So I will accommodate her. She needs to know she is loved and cared for. Maybe by this time next year, she will have adjusted.
