All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:
That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

I had a diet cola (says, “Diet Cola” on the can) instead of eleven more pretzel bars and the box. Not the same, though.
I need to make the twerpy children something for lunch. They’re hungry enough that it’s distracting them from Lego.
I’ve fiddled around and managed to get a few things up and on display, but I have two more areas that need to be cleaned before I can finish up with the tree and the Nativities.
One of the smaller Nativities is on my desk, so I can’t look at my Weather Station without seeing it. I LIKE that!
I even found my Christmas Muppet Babies...
Maybe by Thursday, I’ll be done with all this. Wait. No, I won’t. Tomorrow is payday and that always screws up my plans. *sheesh*
Tomorrow is only Dec. 3. You don’t have to be completely ready for Christmas!
The immensely idle Tom is supposed to be finding out if we have any outdoor decorations that have survived, but he seems to be in the shower again, instead. UNNNGH.
Yes, I do have to be completely ready for Christmas because right now, my place looks like I’m either moving in or moving out, and that is stressful for me. With CFIDS, if I wait, I may never get it done, just because that’s the nature of the disease.
I have lights, but I don’t want to try and string them myself, because of the dizziness I’ve been experiencing the last few days.
— I was lucky...I have an appointment with the clinic director at 1540 this afternoon, and though that will stress out my evening, I can’t keep doing what I’m doing without falling over. It’s worse when the weather is like this, so I need to do something.
Did the Advent Kitteh come?
LOL!
Yes, she did. I told one of my church friends about the Advent Kitteh on Sunday, and he said there should be an Advent Dog to bring him beer and chips.
Christmas?
It’s time to be decorating for CHRISTMAS ALREADY?????!!!!
How did THAT happen?
No, the Advent Bird brings beer and cheeps.
Advent Dog brings franks with all the fixings and root beer.
I do it to keep the Holiday Depression away. Otherwise, I would find a hole, crawl in it and pull it in after me until after New Year’s Day.
This way, it’s not too depressing to be alone.
Jim S. want the Advent Bird, then. No root beer for him!
Short people ... yep, been there and still am. Everything, over the head, is so distant and up there.
Afternoon T-c. Afternoon Everyone.
Hello. How are you?
Errands ran ... Smelling Gunpowder!
Smelled like wet grass around here.
And the bomb gave proof!
Maybe someone mowed their lawn, since it’s not actually raining.
LOL ... the lawn was rained on.
