Recent Mars Images (Marvin the Martian throws down the kaboom in a guest zot)

All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:

That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.
A few items...

Gear of some sort.

I have a #48 Tyler standard-grade stupidity sieve mesh, whereas I operate as if I were equipped with a #63 μm Renard-grade stupidity sieve mesh.

The only sieve I use is that of Eratosthenes. It helps me to find some very odd things.
And it is in prime condition.

... ones inability to know at the time that a thing is stupid.I've refined the instruction (for those with more mental powers than Frank): "Don't do anything think I will think was stupid."
They all know what that means. It's like, "Clean the bathroom as if I had done it." It eliminates variability in one's personal definition of "clean."

Nostril crayons.
Every kid should know the unique horror of nostril crayons.

I don’t remember if it was Frank or Vlad who put lentils up his nose. I can look it up if I need it for blackmail purposes later.

"I have a flour sifter." My dad built one into a cabinet for mom. She could make biscuits as quick as anything.
It's gone now, but I think about that when I hear "The House That Built Me".

My grandmother had a built-in sifter, too.
I just live with heavy baked goods.

"My grandmother had a built-in sifter, too." It's one of the things that leads me to think that every kitchen will soon have a 3-D printer for a lot of common foods.
Just think! Soon you can just pour your ingredients of flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon into its appropriate bin, and download the latest pastry treat!

No nostril crayons, but my younger brother learned about nostril Bic pen tops at a rather advanced age to accumulate such knowledge.
