All over the internet recently, sciFy vs. reality and a Mars satellite for petty cash:

That breaks the monopoly. Faced with the spectre of other nations publishing uncensored Mars images, NASA and JPL have started publishing some much more obvious images than they have in the past including a totally uncensored video (JPL) showing large-scale structure.

My hair is now curly. The gal came at 0730 and just left, so it was really nice to have someone else work on my head.

Those were Jake's exact words after that neighborhood encounter. Poor Jake. May Jake have recovered and the lamp shade been removed. Sometimes there just isn't any water in the ground but there be all kinds of mutant things.

Jake is fine. The fur on his neck isn’t completely grown back, but other than that, he’s good as new. Mao!

Oops forgot ... Jake's injuries were along the part of the neck where only tape would suffice as to promote lesser injury. The lamp shade stayed on the lamp.

Glad Jake is fine. Have doubts Jake will ever show me his sword collection ever again since the swords failed in that encounter but Jake being the Ninja Jake is ... have to believe that silver stars and numchucks are the latest additions to Jake's arsenal.
