The wormhole back to Earth lands you in Key West. Not much of an improvement over your description.
...and you can't even catch a decent train out of there anymore.
Back from trick-or-treat with Kathleen and three brothers. She refused to be left at home. Sally and her friends have gone out now.
There’s a group of junior-high boys going around in zoot suits with a saxophone; I guess they’re the Sultans of Swing.
No?
How clever of those Sultans of Swing!
And Kathleen knows exactly what to do to get attention. Next year will be worse.
Do we have any photos of the Hello Kitty Bat?
DP brought his orchids in. They’ve been hanging in a tree for several months. Cats and kids will be in; I think the pumpkins (and the spiders and bats) will be okay.
I’ll go get the link to the Cubs party pictures. Stay tuned!
Plus, I have no chance of seeing the green flash out toward Stock Island.
I’m in the purple Pakistani outfit, hand-embroidered by ME during an insane fit late in my 6th pregnancy.
That....is lethal stupidity.
It’s been pretty good here. Lots of little Queen Elsas and several Egyptian queens, various superheroes, a lanky teenaged vampire on a bicycle, some little insects ...
People a few houses up have a nice Pirates of the Caribbean display, including a sunken ship and a dungeon in the garage.
It’s getting cold now ... kids are turning up with coats over their costumes.
The water in the barometer is all the way up the spout and my lower back and hips told me it would be that way before I even looked up.
I want to go to bed, but I’m afraid I will sleep too soon.
A few minutes ago, I finished compiling the budget and the grocery list for Monday, but it took me over an hour. I have no idea why...except I have the S-L-O-W-S.
Everything takes me forever. Too many distractions!
Speaking of taking forever, Pat was peeling potatoes to take to the mission dinner tomorrow. After two hours, he still wasn’t done the ten pounds! DP finished peeling and cut them all up in about 15 minutes.
A substantial group of middle-school football players just turned up in muddy uniforms. I gave them lots of chocolate!
Except for the neckline, that purple Pakistani outfit is almost the exact same color and embroidery of one I had made while I was in Pak! How fun is that???
I will have to take a photo of it and send it. Did you get the one of my tablecloth? You didn’t say.
You looked perfectly lovely for the mother of Bat Girl!
Football players need chocolate!!!!
If you sent it to my phone, I’ll probably get it a week from now.
I just asked a girl about 3 years old, “Which princess are you?” “Rapunzel ... but I’m not really, it’s just my costume!”
We just had a character from the “Portal” video game. They’re getting older!
LOL!
Out of the mouths of Babes!
And yes, I sent the pic to your phone. However, I will try to figure out what is going on with my camera and try it again in email. Tomorrow.
There was a photo on FB of a Dalmation, decorated for Hallowe’en...his humans had painted spider legs on all his spots!
Sadly funny!
