This is the moment a man saw the elderly homeless woman he gives money to every day - driving a new car.
Daniel Ayala walked past the Shell garage on his way to work for weeks to hand a few notes to the panhandler sat on the corner.
One day, he missed lunch to give her $4. But he was sent in to a foul-mouthed rage on Wednesday when he passed by to see her in a 2013 red Fiat.

This sort of thing has gone on for a long time. I remember my mother telling me that when she worked as a social worker about 50 years ago she found many cases where the clients were living better than the social worker.
If the government is giving away something - anything - there’ll be a line of people waiting for handouts.
I never give a dime to panhandlers anymore.
There are many govt programs we are paying for that can handle it just fine
Why should I help finance freeloaders and their substance abuse problems?
See it all the time.
I don’t ever give money to professional beggars.
I remember a guy in the Wal-Mart parking lot telling people he needed just $5 more to get enough gas to go home because he was from far away and was stuck there.
He was stuck there again a week later.
I have a few pennies, I’m just hoping they will at least grow into nickels soon
I bet she has an Obama sticker on the bumper.
Now we have the welfare class living better than much of the middle class.
Pitiful.
One day I’d like to respond with, “You know, funny thing, I was just going to ask you if you had any spare change.”
I don’t know what a tattoo costs but some of these poor panhandlers sure seem to have thousands in “body art.”
Years ago I was a cab driver. One poor homeless man was always on a busy street corner with his Will Work for Food sign. Local police were cracking down and our boss gave him a job driving a cab. He lasted less than a week. He made more money panhandling than driving a cab. Several days later I saw him showing up in a new Mercedes.
Exactly a week later a different guy holding the same fan belt approached me in the same parking lot with the exact same story. When I called him on it, he made a feeble attempt to deny it, then just walked off.
we had a old black lady begging in front of our local grocer, sign saying she needs help for a hotel. Shopping cart full of bags and crap. End of the day, 2 young women come and put her and her shopping cart in the back of a mini van, ends up they live around the corner from me!
I think her kids put her out there to beg.
I lived in NYC for several years, about 30 years ago. All that time, there was a guy begging in the same spot outside Grand Central Station. A real fixture for years on end. After I moved away, he made national news. Had a house in New Jersey, a daughter in college, etc.
At exit 96 on Interstate 85 here in Gaffney, SC, there is a gang of beggars who sit at the top of the exit ramp. One sits in a wheel chair with his hand out. My wife saw them unloading the wheel chain once, and the guy who was supposed to be disabled ran across the road, took a seat and started holding up a sign. This gang lives up the road from me, and are known drug addicts.
I have Mexican mafia around here, all the drug-dealers and stuff pay them “taxes” or else.
Those could be from prison.
Wow. What a surprise. +++rolls eyes+++
