Which brings me to the topic. When do you stop fighting? When you're half broke? When you've lost a leg, say? At what point is it enough, that it's all that they could ask, and that you pass the torch to others who are yet whole, who can, at least, march without hurting? How about two legs? What then, do you stop, because it's all you can do, and you fade quietly into oblivion? Can you still stay up nights, after all these years? Can you watch your sons pick up the torch without falling back into senescence? Can you still drag yourself to keyboard and monitor and fight for your country? Can you do that?
Thanks, Jim.
Bless you Bill.
Me and my sons are still up.
Thank you all very much. Don’t have a leg to stand on, but still kicking and fighting. Will continue as long as God gives me strength to hit the keys or pull a trigger.
