Ever since David Muir was tapped to replace Diane Sawyer when she leaves ABC World News in September, gossip about his sexual orientation has gone into overdrive.
Kenneth in the 212 reports Muir is allegedly “openly gay in his day-to-day life.” Another juicy rumor claims that he and field reporter Gio Benitez are an item.
Neither of these men are openly gay, but have been linked together after a series of coincidental appearances on ABC World News. Eagle-eyed viewers claim that Gio usually files his reports to Diane Sawyer from the field. But when Muir fills in as anchor, Benitez miraculously appears in the studio. Coincidence?
Gio recently said that Muir is one of his top three “Golden Followers” on Twitter. And unlike Muir, Benitez has no problem being seen in gay bars.
Currently Muir is the World News weekend anchor and co-host on 20/20. But when he takes over on September 2 he’ll be at the pinnacle of his career. But would he come out—going where Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Robin Roberts and Shepard Smith have gone before?
We’ll just have to wait and see.
Why do people care?
Would there be stories about him possibly being straight?

ABC News even has/had a cable news channel.... I don’t if anyone ever watched it or noticed it though

You notice how they play these stupid games. Of course he is gay. But the American public is not supposed to know. Like with Shepard Smith. Or so many other MSM talking heads.
Then if they “come out” (i.e. be a little bit truthful about themselves) it is praised as an act of courage, a great achievement, something to celebrate, etc.
I remember way back..during the 2000 mess in Florida, when he was briefly arrested because hit an NBC reporterette who was trying to hold a parking space..It was the highlight of his career..
If they are so damn ‘PROUD’ of their perversion, then why hide it behind a screen of disingenuous hetero facade?.....ABC probably wants him to play the part of a hetero news anchor to save them from the possible ratings fallout. Let him play the straight man until it’s ‘safe’ for him to come out............

why on earth does crap like this get posted. Anybody that even watches ABC or NBC and CNN for that fact is likely a democrat and we all know most democrats are gay or lesbian but who the heck cares.

Not everyone has cable or satellite service. Many have to rely of their local air broadcasts, regardless of political leanings, for news and weather.
The reason I posted this was for informative purposes, just so everyone knows..............
I cut the cord on cable long ago, but still get exposed to it from time to time. Last week, I saw The Weather Channel for a few minutes. They’re all unusually effeminate males on there, at least the three or four on that segment were.
The liberal homosexual agenda is trying to make everyone think that the world country is homosexual when it’s less than 5%.
