Ella dice que está atascada en un embotell
She says shes stuck in a traffic jam.
I also want my kiddo to see Times Square.
Thank you.
I agree with Dave that you are really over-committing for one day. You would need roller skates just to see all the paintings. You can’t begin to do justice to the artwork if you are going at 20 mph.
How are you getting to NY and why is the stay so short?
My uncle is turning 100 so I am flying up there with my youngest and we play to take the train into the city one day and cover as much ground as possible. That is my wish list of what to see. I don’t think I can do it all and I figure the Statue of Liberty will have to be seen from the air on our way in and out of Newark. She’ll miss 2 days of school around the weekend because no one asked me which weekend would be more convenient for his party. His birthday isn’t until February but the weather is too iffy that time of year. I’m willing to save Harlem for another trip.
You can’t possibly do justice to more than one of those museums in a day. Even a week would be inadequate.
We just sang Happy Birthday after mass today to a 96 year old who still ushers at church. For celebration, he came to noon mass with his wife. A long and happy life and he’s still going strong. I love hearing about folks who reach those milestones.
Can’t use my front door. Deconstruction has started. The side walk is gone, the porch is being framed for new concrete. It will be stamped and colored to look like slate. They have been hard at work all day. We will be using the back door for awhile. I am getting excited to see it done.
Sounds pretty! I love home reno/ improvements
our next project will be having our kitchen floor refinished. But that will have to await the completion of housetraining of the little pup. xsbaby took some pix at the breeder’s home, but I could not send them to anyone lest they mistake the floors for mine. they were....unbelievable....
Sssh, no Debbie Downer. I am not spending all day in one museum. You don’t know how much we covered in DC and we only had 3 days.
We have another contractor putting in a new front door and sidelight along with a railing. Our house will look updated and inviting. Yea!
Sorry, I have done both DC and NYC....NYC is far more complicated. Good luck.
You didn’t have it done when the kitchen remodel was underway? I have some inside projects to get done before the daughter and her boyfriend come in early December. Then I get my other knee done.
No, it didn’t need redone but the re-do took a toll on it.
Democrats are looking wan
As this November approaches-
Maybe they will have to
Run for cover like roaches
If they’re out, the hammer
May come down with a bang
Especially if Holder flees
Along with most of his gang
It may be too late to hide
The glaring indiscretions-
The gag orders and cover-ups
And private e-mail sessions
Aqui es un atasco de trafico-no usado el otro palabra...
I have been both places before too. One just costs a whole lot more.
OMG that is hilarious and sounds like me!
“Embotellamiento” is a mouthful and a half. Like “estacionamento.”
Nice!
Aparcamento is where you park the cars-estacionamento sounds like something from Brazil...
