Well said.
Don't Know but your response is pretty close to what Islamic a$$holes would say.

Jesse Matthew:
I was not referring to how she was dressed. I think a 4.0 academic student should be smart enough to not make stupid choices in today’s dangerous social environment. Walking alone, drunk in the street at 1am, dressed provocatively, drinking with a stranger, shouldn’t surprise anyone that she made choices that put her life at risk. ( Unless, of course, she had the ability to defend and protect herself against an attack from a 300 pound predator male, which doesn’t seem to be the case in this instance.)
It usually starts with underage drinking. And drinking to the point of stupidity doesn’t help.
My neice and her hubby attended Liberty during those years. Need to ask if they remembered him.
Speaking as a former teenage girl, and more recently the mother of someone who was a teenage girl not all that long ago, may I comment? Even quite nice, innocent girls want to look desirable and sexy, though they have no idea of the real meaning of sex. They have no clue about the message their clothes and grooming are sending and no comprehension of the power of male sexuality. This is especially so if they are from nice upper middle class backgrounds and have spent their high school years being scrubbed, athletic, and preppy. It feels glamorous to put on glittery things, a harmless pseudo-adult rebellion against WASP upbringing. They want to feel desired but have little idea that they're playing with fire. Doing this in no way means that this poor girl was a slut.
And as for choosing to accept a drink from an ugly black man in dreads--yes, that seems remarkably stupid to us adults, but I can easily see a sheltered English girl saying yes because she could not see a graceful polite way to decline without seeming racist, and might have just thought it was the interesting exotic thing one does at university.
That is interesting. I did not know any of it. This area does not have much inter-racial dating or marriage tho it will probably change eventually.
It is still rare enough that people will turn and look at the one or two which are here.
I’m Mississippian.... still uncommon there
...and I’m not talking marriage or even Brangelina level family paradigm
Just serial illegitimacy.....zero fathering or financial help
Just the tadpoles
Here in middle TN....for some reason....we have a huge white trash problem.... confused white kids under 40
At least 25% of these girls have at least one fatherless black child
The result of this enlightenment in another generation is foreboding
GFY.
FOX indicated earlier today he was an acquaintance of victim
He was seen with her buying drinks for her in a bar the nite she was abducted
It is possible she did not know him before and FOX got it wrong
However I stand by my surmisal of her style.....claiming from jump street its not an infallible observation
I remember that one.
According to the article he was on the football team
Picture of him on the web from that time period
raw video of extradition hearing in Galveston from one from our our local news stations!
“There’s a lot to be said for the disaster of our drinking laws in this country. “
Too bad there were no senators with enough balls to say, “Screw your highway money. We’ll fix our OWN potholes!” Repeal of the 17th Amendment would be a good step! I agree with the rest of your post;)
Another “gentle giant”? /s
Do you think this girl never had booze before going to college?
Good post.
