I’m good to carry in CT and open carry is okay in the woods. They frown on carrying a long gun out of season with no hunting lic.
That reminds me, where I’m going, you can’t carry a long gun during hunting season without a valid hunting license.
Honestly, I’m old and tired, a pistol is a big load when I’m hiking, let alone a long gun sufficient for bear.
