No Chocolate ping!!
Remember that chocolate bars and blocks have an OK shelf life.
Chocolate rations to be cut?
O the Hugh manatee!
Yes Mooochelle will be cutting them due to Ebola!
No hot cocoa this winter for the Americanistas. Why? Because of Obama’s “home country”.
This is getting serious!!!
If chocolate isn’t available, there will be rampaging in the street. Women on unrestrained PMS. Zombies craving brains because there is no chocolate.
Eeeee-bolllll-aaaaaa ping!
Bring Out Your Dead
Were gonna need
a bigger cart!
Post to me or FReep mail to be on/off the Bring Out Your Dead ping list.
The purpose of the Bring Out Your Dead ping list (formerly the Ebola ping list) is very early warning of emerging pandemics, as such it has a high false positive rate.
So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the Bring Out Your Dead threads will miss the beginning entirely.
*sigh* Such is life, and death...
They will have to pry my Baby Ruth bar from my dead, sticky fingers.
NO BLOOD FOR CHOCOLATE!
Nobody better lay a finger on my Butterfinger!
A link to this thread has been posted on the Ebola Surveillance Thread
This is certainly a national security issue! /s
It is my understanding that the only place to possibly grow cocoa in the U.S. is southern Florida. Mexico and South America are other options.
Paging Rick Scott and Adam Putnam: Florida also has the sugar cane and dairy. Florida can set up a complete vertical processing and manufacturing facility for chocolate candy.
This will bring manufacturing jobs and tourism-related jobs. (plant tours of course!)
Oh noes, we might run out of ebola chocolates! No ebola for you!
“If you like your ebola, you can keep your ebola!”

Time to stockpile.
Glad I stocked up on Cocoa Powder, and powdered chocolate milk last year. Might add some more candy and cocoa powder to the stash.
While a little chocolate is great now and then, what I really have to have is coffee! I have a stash of that too, only it’s about double the amount.
When it affects the grape fermentation market I’ll really get pissed.
Oh, this *is* serious.
People dying of Ebola by the dozen every day, meh.
A threat to the chocolate supply, better bring out the guns!
Isn’t coffee grown in that same area?
This Ebola thing is getting bad.
(Disclaimer: I really do think Ebola is a serious situation for the people in that area.)
Stockpiling as never before! ;)
Yikes! No Hershey’s dark chocolate kisses.
Favorite, Dark Chocolate? Milk chocolate?
