I read a speech presented at a formal military dinner. The guest speaker was a General or Admiral (I forget which) who compared each branch of service to a breed of dogs. In the speech (tongue in cheek), he explained the differences, in his opinion.
Air Force = Poodles
Navy = Labradors
Army = Saint Bernards
Marines = Doberman Pinchers or Rottweilers
Marine Dobermans are “skinny and mean”
Marine Rottweilers are “BIG and MEAN”.
Semper Fi to all the FR Marines, Skinny or BIG!
Standard Poodles are actually one of the most intelligent breeds of dog. Those that are “Poodle Fanciers”, however, are often defective human beings.
