German shepherd.
I’m not sure how the website figured that out, but I think it’s right. We’ve had some wonderful dogs over the years, and among my favorites were a long-haired dachshund and a bloodhound. But we’ve had two German Shepherds (one is still with us), and they were undoubtedly my favorites.

I read a speech presented at a formal military dinner. The guest speaker was a General or Admiral (I forget which) who compared each branch of service to a breed of dogs. In the speech (tongue in cheek), he explained the differences, in his opinion.
Air Force = Poodles
Navy = Labradors
Army = Saint Bernards
Marines = Doberman Pinchers or Rottweilers
Marine Dobermans are “skinny and mean”
Marine Rottweilers are “BIG and MEAN”.
Semper Fi to all the FR Marines, Skinny or BIG!
