No, it doesn’t.
Your position is that we MUST vote for the R or else the D gets in.
The truth is, if the R is a RINO, you are advocating voting for them anyway.
That is the truth.
Don’t like it, well tough.
Here’s what would work: Vote for the Conservative.
If he doesn’t win, DON’T SUPPORT THE RINO.
Once the GOP figures out that we are on to their “suddenly go conservative until after the election is over” BS, they’ll start running people who we will vote for.
It is utter BS to vote for the R when you know that he doesn’t care about the issues YOU do.
Darksheare: “Once the GOP figures out that we are on to their suddenly go conservative until after the election is over BS, theyll start running people who we will vote for.”
Actually, I think that’s unproven and unlikely. The GOP isn’t a monolithic entity. Voters in the primaries decide who gets to represent the GOP, and they keep nominating RINOs. So you aren’t talking about one entity, the GOP, that has to change its mind. You’re talking about millions of voters who disagree with you and I and want to nominate milquetoasts. We gave them alternatives, and they voted against them. That doesn’t mean we should give up, but I don’t think the moderates are going to suddenly give in. We’ve got to beat them in the primaries.
