A very disturbing number of Freepers are openly advocating, on Free Republic threads, for the defeat of Senator Pat Roberts and other good Conservative Republicans. Greg Orman, in Kansas, is a pro abortion, anti gun, tax and spend Liberal Democrat who has given tens of thousands of dollars to Obama and Pelosi and the Democrat Party and Harry Reid. I am called an "idiot" for supporting Roberts. However, I think that those on Free Republic who support Harry Reid and Greg Orman should be ZOTTED, kicked off the site. I have had enough of there hate filled, vindictive, misguided trash.

Not slander or libel if it is true.
You are advicating abortion.

And before you claim you are slandered, might want to check your own comments for such first.
See posts 511 and 514.
It is pure sophistry to suggest that those who oppose abortion actually support it.
What Kansas is ignoring is that we want to keep OUR party free of abortion supporters, so we don’t vote for them. Hopefully, the result of that is the party will decide it is a waste of time to run them as candidates.
The more we vote for abortion supporters, the more of them we will be presented with to support.
So far as not supporting a bill that restricts abortions after 20 weeks, I can see the point Kansas is making. Since a bill totally banning abortions would not fly, but a lesser bill might, then we gain by supporting the lesser bill.
I agree with that.
However, I don’t believe ‘blood is on the hands’ of those who won’t support the lesser bill because they’re determined to push for everything they want. They might be guilty of bad political calculation but not of ‘blood’.
You have blood on YOUR hands if you support the no compromise position on abortion all the time.”
“ Then YOU have blood on YOUR Hands if you would oppose late term abortion restrictions, as the no compromise crowd in Kansas did for years.”
Your quotes, your posts.
Not only is that an advocation of abortion, but late term abortiontoo boot.
Well...
There is where the rub appears to be.
well, bye
” The self righteous no compromise crowd has killed more babies than George Tiller, as they have enabled the abortion industry.”
Sooo...opposing abortion enables it?
Looks like he won’t be answering you any more.
Hmm.
I’d still like to hear how Jesus would be okay with the murder of babies for political convenience.
That was...interesting.
Ironic. Couldn’t see it coming?
If He doesn’t disagree, can you cite Scripture to that effect?
I’ve given you one, so it’s your turn.
It seems that 516 is the closest we will get to a straightish answer sorta.
Not supporting a pro-abortion candidate results in abortion.
Okay.
FR is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-America. If that is too purist for you, you sir are no conservative. Compromise with the abortionists? Guess you don’t know me very well.
No surrender, no retreat! Our God given rights to life and liberty are not subject to negotiation or compromise!
GOP-e RINO troll begone!
Same argument that kansas58 used in post 511.
IATZ
It really isn’t complex at all. Upthread I believe you also said it’s not black-and-white. Well, it is.
That verse behind your Freep name isn’t vague nor open to interpretation. Look-—I’m not telling you what to do nor how to vote. But I would think that someone who promotes the crystal clarity of such doctrine would also understand my points.
And I don’t think you can compare the murder of innocents to a problem with drink.
As I said, you do what you want, but I have my own standing with God to think about, and I’m not saying that to come across as holier-than-thou. I caved in 2012 and voted for Romney, and I experienced a, shall we say, personal spiritual crisis as a result.
I learned a tough lesson. I won’t endanger my relationship with God for a political candidate again. I’ll take all the flak that comes my way for that, but it’s not going to change my stance.
Sometimes the enemy of your enemy is just another enemy...convenient platitudes notwithstanding.
I wasn’t part of the “crowd” in your home state of Kansas. But when it comes to my personal support, it won’t be thrown behind anyone who supports abortion or queers.
If that somehow translates in your mind to me having blood on my hands, well...I’d suggest that you might want to take some time this afternoon and have a little nap. It might refresh your mental clarity. If, afterward, your opinion is the same, that’s okay with me.
Bump.
