I have been meaning to buy another copy for myself this time, which I will do so quite soon.
I really enjoyed the threads when you first posted your insights out here.
As to the film, it seems unlikely that the book could be done justice, but I will pick up the 3rd DVD just as soon as it becomes available. The first two were interesting with the 21st century upgrades, but I agree that a cable mini series likely would have been the better route. Of course, we appreciate that the powers there are unlikely to be sympathetic to such a production, so we have this work which is better than nothing at all.
Buy five or ten copies for your friends. Start a reading circle and introduce people to “Atlas” with our book as the guide. (I’m just being shameless here.)
We did not go to see the movie to pick it apart.
We went to see AS III to enjoy a movie afternoon and to find out if it would be helpful in advancing the conservative cause.
My wife and I both enjoyed watching the movie, and we both believe it will advance the cause.
It certainly made a very strong statement about the abject failure of the LIEberal/Socialist/Marxist/Fascist political/economic/social system being rammed down our throats by our own government(s) — federal, state and local!
I’ll probably go see AS III again, and will take one or more FRiends with me. I’ll fer shure, fer shure buy the AS III DVD!
It is regrettable that you were so picky-picky; however, having read your FR profile, I can understand why.
Thanks for the post; ping/post. BTTT!
