Good morning n’@!
THANK YOU to all who posted get well wishes for son and I :). He (and many of his classmates) are much better, and absenteeism is just a kid or two a classrroom). He thinks he got this in the 2nd wave (kids sick when they first went back in August—I didn’t know this at the time because we weren’t sick).
As for me, since I’m not a healthy 17 year old athlete I am still weak feeling, have a lingering (now mild—but still there headache) and I have a horrible dry, hacking cough (more to do w/my health—life long asthmatic—than the bug). Ribs sore (and headache might still be from) the broncho spasms (bad coughing fits) I’ve had.
I feel like a hypochondriac posting all that, but want to record the “bug” as this whole mini outbreak locally has just been so weird.
Since I didn’t plan my illness a month or so in advance, I won’t be able to get an audience w/family doctor...so tomorrow (if more hacking tonight) I’m going to a Med Express for inhaler/cough meds.
And the Steelers!?!?!?! All I can add is “LETS GO BUCS” (I think they might win the division—winning and making a great run!)
Morning! PaMom, Glad to hear you are feeling better - I hope the last remnants go away quickly! Talked to a young lady, yesterday, at work. Her friend’s kindergarden child got the bug and is now in the hospital because of it. It caused severe respiratory problems. I was feeling a bit yucky yesterday, but it passed quickly. If I don’t get enough sleep, that’s the result!
Reminder: Get your car filled just in case the CME (hitting tomorrow morning?) is strong enough to temporarily interfere with the power grid!
Go Stillers!
It’s great to hear you are getting over that bug quickly!
The one that is around here lasts a good week or more. All of our kids and grand kids had it. The GKs weren’t as bad as their parents. Oldest son had to go to his doctor and he is still a little sick.
Glad to hear your son is feeling better. Prayers being offered up for a timely and complete recovery for you.
