The stack of papers was 3’ high. I sat and sorted, and have almost reached the end. The main thing is sorting what I may use from what I just like, then either donating the rest or tossing it, or both.
My back began to hurt so I’m taking a short break. Of course, my bedroom is now officially chaos revisited, but I AM making progress. LOL!!
Once this is tackled and taken care of, I will be able to concentrate on the bookshelf and books that keep staring at me accusingly from the cubbyhole I have put them in on the patio.
Of course, now that the rug is dry and looking pretty, I need to replace the furniture and sort out the stuff I just threw in the two chairs to get it out of the way. I wonder when I will just have “housework” to look forward to, instead of these endless projects of weeding out what I have been packing around for years. Odd that I would hang onto some of the stuff I’ve found...
Give yourself a Raucous Round of Applause!
I’m going to take some children to the library. Then maybe we can have Naps.
Howdy, Face. Sorry to hear about your ‘stuff’ problem.
Makes me think of a business idea. I’ll offer to take a list from my customer of everything in the (room, storage shed, pile, whatever) they want to hang on to then go in and get rid of everything else *without* telling them what it was that I got rid of. The things you remember well enough to tell me about are the things worth keeping. Everything else is just clutter that you might, unfortunately, decide to keep if you do the removal. But since it’s me, I can be ruthless and get rid of it. And since I don’t tell you what it was, you won’t miss it.
Think it could work?
