I just can't afford it. I couldn't even get my nitro and the steroid for my nebulizer this week, so there is no way I can pay for the deposit. They will let me carry it over three months, I can't even afford that.
If she reneges on it the cat is going to the shelter. I have no choice.And she had better understand that up front.

I guess what’s missing here is the fact that she is a manipulator and is always trying to get more from me than she is willing to give.
She is looking for an easy out. I seem to be that easy out. She sees me as stupid and gullible and that’s the way she has always seen me.
She’s my daughter and I want to help, but I’m not willing to pay $250 for a 5-year old cat. Yes, Merlin is up to date on shots, but she doesn’t want to even give me his carrier.
So the more I talk about this, the madder I get at the fact that she thinks she is going to get what she wants at my cost.
Yes, they took a trip to Europe, with their two kids. Remember, she wanted me to puppy-sit for the two weeks with no payment.
If she pays me $250 for the deposit, then that is $250 she doesn’t have for shoes, jewelry, tattoos, more fairies for her collection, clothes and nights on the town.
Because she intends to use it as a centerpiece?
I don’t know...just to remind her, I guess. I would be so humiliated to treat my mother the way she treats me...
Speaking of treats, I didn’t even get to go to the car show today. Himself said he was too tired, but he went yesterday when my stomach was killing me.
Ohwell. I got a few things done, and that’s what counts. The sun with shine tomorrow and it will mean a fresh start.
There will be another car show. Monroe, our county seat, has one every month. Maybe someday I’ll “cruise in” in my pristine 1983 Mazda RX-7.
And maybe next week I’ll gather the paperwork and the gumption and go wait in line at the License Plate Office. Sigh.
I like this car show because it is free, laid back, outside and has no hucksters trying to rip you off at every turn.
It didn’t even get up to 80 today, and there was a stiff breeze blowing. There is still a breeze, but not as strong as it was.
I have two potatoes left, but it would be nice to have a small steak to go with them! A nice green salad would fit in just fine. I’m curious about my weight loss since my enforced semi-fast.

DADS CAR isn’t available for the plate, but I could get SLVR BLT.
Maybe I’ll just get alphanumeric off the top of the stack.

I should probably go take my ugly self to bed. It would seem this mood is getting darker and I need to go play a zillion games of solitaire to make it go away and drop my BP.
If you had a free cat, that would help your blood pressure. Have you considered a stuffed cat? Maybe the thrift store would give you one in exchange for all the stuff you’ve donated!
There seems to be a way I can do the title transfer and registration by mail. I need to read more at the state’s license plate website. Unnngh.
