Sorry for your losses :-(, but happy you found a floofy little mite.
How old is she, and how much does she weigh?

So I'm wondering what happens to the surgeon who does these operations, day after day, week after week ... If that's all he did, he'd probably get carpel tunnel.

Ceirdwyn?
I’ll never remember that. Cool name though.

Ceirdwyn and her brother are both about eight weeks old, under six pounds, and very active.
I woke up to one of them snoozing on my chest last night.

8 weeks old? LOL.
Sorry.
Last night, I had my first decent nights sleep in over two months. Mostly because my puppies are keeping other people busy now.
I guess you can’t crate-train cats, eh?
What have you named the brother?

I’d settled on Collin, the missus said, “No, COLTON.”

carpel tunnel. Whew ... glad I misread that ... thought it said 'camel tuppel'. My promise, no more scans when reading.

What he hasn't revealed is that
Ceirdwyn is the closest English translation of the original Blgthrthian..
My Universal AutoTranslator (a wondrous device cobbled together by merging the autocowrecktion algorithms of Android and iOs codes then ported to QNX to run on a Blackberry Playbook) totally seized on the attempt at rendering a valid meaning to the original..

Puppies!!!!
I can’t imagine anything more wonderful than a puppy or a kitten.
What breed? I wasn’t able to find that in the threads.

My striped tabby had a thing for stuffed plush pandas and giraffes.
A duck is darling.
It’s raining here. So hard I just saw a neighbor leaving for work and he stepped in a poodle.

At least you don’t get water in your shoes if you step on a dog.
It’s raining here, too. The cats keep going out in it and then coming back in to complain that they’re wet.

So, raining from New Jersey to North Carolina. I guess it’s an East Coast weather event.
I wonder what we’re celebrating?

Fanfan has the puppies.
I picked up two kittens.
Eight weeks old.
One floofy longhair and her oddly shorthaired brother.
These guys are a mix, but the floofy girl has a short snout, largish eyes.
Hard to tell until she gets bigger.

Okay, so it’s not raining cats and dogs then.
I guess it will be safe for me to venture out to work in a bit.
