I remember when the NFL was accused of being racist because there weren’t many blacks players. Then they got more black players and they were still accused because there were no black quarterbacks. If you are good enough, teams want you, regardless of race, creed, nationality, or sexual activities. I just doubt most homosexual guys are very good players.
The only thing that matters in the NFL is winning.
Black, brow, white, gay. Win...and no one cares. Lose, and you get cut.
This is the same reason why some business avoid interviewing and hiring disabled people and certain minorities.

No. Even the Left-leaning commentators on ESPN note that Sam is too specialized a player, unusable with today’s 3-4 defenses used by the majority of NFL teams.

Michael Sam was not cut because of homophobia any more than Tim Tebow was cut because he was Christian. Both were cut because they lack the talent to play football at the pro level.
