It was actually quite difficult to leave my previous oncologist. I loved those nurses. If you could ever look forward to chemo for any reason, I did love those nurses. Superlative, every single one.
They reassured me when my sweetheart broke it off in the middle of chemo, they cheered when he came back, they cried with me when I got breast cancer a second time.
by the way, sweetheart left again a year after chemo. But I’m better off.
