Michael Sam is flying into Dallas on Tuesday night and will take a physical for the Cowboys on Wednesday, a source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
If Sam passes his physical, the Cowboys intend to sign him to their practice squad, the source said.

He’s gonna make a real ugly cheerleader.
Jerry Jones would have his wife dancing naked at half time if he could sell one more ticket.
He sold out wanting to win, sell them tickets.
He won’t make for a pretty cheerleader.
Right now, 1-15 is a distinct possibility.
The offense hasn’t looked all that great in pre-season, and I doubt if Romo is going to make it through the whole season.
Just wait, if you thought the Cowboys sucked before...
I got’s ta find me a new team to support now that the Cowboys are turning gay. Since Demarcus Ware left, there was really nothing else holding me.
Cowboys are the top valued franchise in the NFL by a wide margin. Proving that in Texas, “just good enough” is plenty.
They already had a openly gay player-Terrell Owens!
Mount up.
I don’t see any horns on Mr. Sam...
FC Dallas?
I just gotta wonder what Coach Landry would think of this as well as JJ, the owner? I would have to think Landry would walk out the door.
ROFLMAO!
My respect for the Cowboys evaporated when Landry got the bums rush.
Who cares?

Practice squad basics
Each NFL team can have up to eight players on their practice squad.
Practice squad players ... practice with the team. They do not play in games.
Not all players are eligible to be signed to NFL practice squads (more on that below).
Practice squad players are paid per week and can be released at any point
during the season.
Practice squad players are free to sign with other NFL teams, assuming they are
signed to the 53-man active roster. A practice squad player cannot be signed
to another practice squad unless he is first released.
A practice squad player can not sign with their team’s upcoming opponent, unless
they do so six days before the upcoming game or 10 days if their team is currently
on a bye week.
If a practice squad player is signed to the active roster, they will receiver
a minimum of three paychecks, even if they are released before spending three
weeks with the team.
In order to be signed to a practice squad after being released, a player must
first clear through waivers.
I think he would be ashamed.
I hope the Cowboys never again make it to the Superbowl.
Go Broncos!!
Go Cowboys!! Go Cowboys!!
Maybe he’ll draw flags for Backfield in Motion.
