Something for someone to consider.
Gratitude come many places.
Mine, comes from a warped view of absurdity and goes something like this:
"You know, it could be worse. What if I weren't pregnant and walking the streets of Somalia?
I mean for single and 50 year old man that can't possibly be good, right?".
And so goes life.
It really could be worse but, probably not.
Thankfully God ensured I was birthed in Murica, at time and age when so many possibiliites and opportunities exist.
America is the land of do overs, no how many dumb decisions you make.
Live it up, Baby!

I’d be happier if I had a nice blog.

I came across a biker that rode his motorcycle ALL over the world (60,000 miles a year average).
He said the happiest people he ever met were in the small villages in the middle of nowhere Africa living in mud huts, drinking muddy water, etc. Can’t recall if he had an explanation or not.

I really don’t care, but I think the lures are called Rapala.

A friend of mine saw combat in Viet Nam, and when he hit a rough patch in life, he'd say,...”Well, at least no one is shooting at me.”

I am SO fortunate I’m getting the opportunity to grow older. The older I get, the less I care about unimportant things, and I value the important things even more.
Life Is Good. :)

Then again, I don't care for meaningless, gratuitous lists.

Me? I pretty much could care less what most people say about me. My kid brother has a saying similar: "If you only knew what people thought about you, you'd be shocked at just how little!'
Love that guy! He's the sanest person I know.

When I wake up in the morning, I take my pulse. If I get to "1" it's going to be a good day.
OTOH, I will say that a smile, a cheery laugh, and a mental note of "I'm going to piss on your grave" has taken me through many a trial...

Why do people write or say, “I could care less,” when they mean, “I couldn’t care less?” That’s as far as I got in the article.
