Controversial former baseball relief pitcher John Rocker will be playing along with his girlfriend, spray-tan business owner Julie McGee. Rocker pitched for the Atlanta Braves in the 1999 World Series against the Yankees. But later that year, Rocker became embroiled in controversy when he was asked in a Sports Illustrated article whether he would ever consider playing in New York and was quoted as saying, Id retire first. Its the most hectic, nerve-racking city. Imagine having to take the 7 train to the ballpark looking like youre [riding through] Beirut next to some kid with purple hair next to some queer with AIDS right next to some dude who just got out of jail for the fourth time right next to some 20-year-old mom with four kids. Its depressing
The biggest thing I dont like about New York are the foreigners. You can walk an entire block in Times Square and not hear anybody speaking English. Asians and Koreans and Vietnamese and Indians and Russians and Spanish people and everything up there. How the hell did they get in this country?

Sounds like you have great kids!
Thank you.
You didn’t say it about me, personally. You said it about my people. You know...from the country.
Yes, I get angry when people stereotype me or where I grew up. That would YOU!
Now maybe you can use your superpowers to remove your head from your butt.
Fat chance.
Sorry. I read it as “center of the city” as opposed to inner city. It’s just not my frame of reference. If you had said “ghetto” I would have better understood.
AFA Woody A is concerned, adopted or not, she is still his daughter. Pretty sick. I’m sure we agree on that.
Glad you got out.
Yes. Having so many NY and NJ people migrate to NC and declare where they came from was better...is just wrong.
Thanks for agreeing.
I will ask you again - can you tell me what I said that offended you?
Can you take the words I wrote (before you attacked me) that were offensive to "your people" and put them in quotes?
The answer is - no, you can't - because you're an idiot and I didn't insult anybody. Learn to read, goober.
Your post makes no sense to me. Sorry.
Not surprised.
It will probably come to you in a few days.
You inserted yourself into the conversation I was having with MM, defending her perspective (and moving the goal posts a la liberals). That I associated her insult with you was only fitting.
And note...having had my culture attacked by MM...and by voluntary association, you...my response was in kind, “attacking” your culture.
YOU took it to the next level by attacking me personally with the moronic “goober” comment.
Not surprising. Just like a liberal, having lost the battle of wits, you resort to name calling.
Learn to think analytically, typical Yankee. (Not much for attacking people personally like you, but that’s about the worse name I could come up with.)
Right there is where you admit you were wrong all along, but you excuse yourself because you're not man enough to apologize.
I'd say your behavior was typical of all southerners, but most southern men I've met have been men of honor. You're a glaring exception.
Have a pleasant day.
I’m man enough to do a lot of things, including apologizing when it is warranted.
Let’s try a different tack. Given the fact that you were “piling on” by defending MM’s negative stereotyping,
I really don’t think I was wrong. However, because you sound sincere, I apologize for not giving you the benefit of the doubt to start with.
I was correcting your absurd statement "Yankee land is lousy with 13 year-old inbreeding welfare moms... up north, those are the majority rather than the exception."
Your assertion was ludicrous and I pointed that out. I didn't say or support a single negative comment about anybody, northern or southern.
I gave a sincere apology.
You whine like a girl.
Why am I not surprised.
Thanks for representin’...
Again, have a pleasant day. Bye.
