LANCASTER (CBSLA.com) Authorities say a man has died in an apparent bow-and-arrow attack in Lancaster.
Lancaster Sheriffs deputies responded to the 43000 block of 27th West around 3:30 a.m. Saturday. When they arrived on scene, they found the victim with an arrow wound to the upper torso.
The victim was taken to an area hospital in critical condition but died hours later.
Authorities said the incident is now being investigated as a homicide. One person has been taken into custody.
Its unclear what relationship existed between the suspect and victim.
No further information was available.
Never bring a .357 mag to an arrow fight?
He couldn’t get a Hattori Hanzo katana.
Or at least know how to shoot straight!
A serious point to remember. “Obsolete” weapons can be every bit as lethal as more modern types, they are just in general more difficult to use.
The main reason firearms replaced archery is that anybody can pull a trigger. Hitting something with an arrow takes skill.
Exactly I been hunting with both for over 50 years.
I’ll take any decent long gun over a bow any day.
It just went off......
