A local Saint Louis radio station is reporting that Dorian Johnson has recanted his prior media espousals and now asserts that he and Mike Brown did indeed engage in a physical confrontation with Officer Darren Wilson. As a consequence the same Radio Station is asserting the local prosecutor essentially advises it’s doubtful charges would be filed.

I don’t live in an urban area, but I echo your sentiments. I live in the Plant City, Florida area. For the most part here, mutual respect, courtesy, for and to each other prevails. While both sides have their criminal element, they are held in check. I have been treated with courtesy and respect by Black people and have returned that courtesy and respect. I greet them, they greet me. I hold doors open for them, they hold doors open for me. When in checkout lines if one of them has one or two items to pay for and I have many items, I allow them to go ahead of me. They, in turn, show me the same courtesy when the chance arises. In short, I would say that we treat each other as civilized human beings treat one another and we get along with each other.
Don’t worry about the caps. That bunk is just that and is more akin to the Washington Redskins bull hockey.

Hell yeah. I *used* to go to the local parks to play b-ball all the time when I was younger. I would *never, ever* do that now. I think it would be akin to signing your own death warrant.
I’m 6’3” and 202lbs of muscle. None of that matters when you have no idea when and where the attack is coming from. So even as a big powerful guy, they’ve made me wary of them. That’s a sad state to be in.
