I don’t live in an urban area, but I echo your sentiments. I live in the Plant City, Florida area. For the most part here, mutual respect, courtesy, for and to each other prevails. While both sides have their criminal element, they are held in check. I have been treated with courtesy and respect by Black people and have returned that courtesy and respect. I greet them, they greet me. I hold doors open for them, they hold doors open for me. When in checkout lines if one of them has one or two items to pay for and I have many items, I allow them to go ahead of me. They, in turn, show me the same courtesy when the chance arises. In short, I would say that we treat each other as civilized human beings treat one another and we get along with each other.
I heard there was an unarmed white guy, killed by a Salt Lake cop, and Al Sharpton and Eric Holder did not show up. I wonder why?
