Let's make that rule work both ways. Go perform a physically impossible feat on yourself, or I'll shoot, tase, pepperspray, or beat you to the ground. Nope. You are not authorized to deal death, if required in such a circumstance. He is, right or not. What happens when everybody gets the idea they can actively disobey a direct order from the sworn LEO any time they want?
According to the Bible (Romans 13) he is the one God recommends you to hear and obey. He's the one bearing the sword. If you want him to respect you as a law-abiding citizen, you'd better respect him and his office.

And yet the Bible requires everyone, including rulers to obey the same laws or suffer the consequences.
Can you quote any scriptures where God, his prophets, or his Son, or his Apostles ever state that you must obey illegal or immoral actions by rulers?
