I don’t like Android because I don’t trust anything produced by Google.

In an attempt to conserve battery power I disabled "Google Play services" and now Android is constantly nagging at me about how something or other requires it - even though I don't download apps or any other content.

Stoopid Google.

$50+ Android tablet... a no-name brand (literally there is no name tag)

It would be fine, maybe a tad slow, if the apps were not updating all the time.

Same thing kinda happens with Android apps from Amazon.

If your network connection is not active, apps will sometimes complain that Amazon could not be reached, then they shut down.
