Why so nasty? Just because we American woman don’t have to have a man to make it on our own, does not mean we don’t like having them around. Our independence comes from that pioneering spirit that has been handed down from mother to daughter; there once was a wilderness to civilize and the menfolk couldn’t do it all; indeed it took American women just as much as American men to build this great nation, and that required a lot more of us just being the hand that rocked the cradle.
I am an older American man and what I see called men pale in comparison to the men I grew up around. Most men these days would have to be told by the wife to take out the garbage and when it comes to cutting firewood they would most likely be a danger to themselves and anyone close by. I liked the lady’s sense of humor, didn’t mean to drag out a bunch of bitter memories.
If American women are alone, I don’t know that for a fact, maybe they just don’t want to settle for a wuss looking for a new mom to take care of him.
Take a chill pill, man. If you lived in Nome, Alaska, wouldn’t you expect all of those persons to know how to do the most fundamental things to survive? That is all this is talking about.
Go live in the Arctic Circle and see how happy you’d be if your wife couldn’t occasionally bring back the wood.
